MarketSense en Provence
More than 1 month has passed since our return from Provence. We’ve processed our impressions, and it’s about time to lighten everyday working life with a small report on how our team has conducted an unscheduled study of Cote d’Azur.
Ready for fresh insights after refreshing!
This year “MarketSense” team was spontaneously involved into a spring corporate party, besides traditional summer and winter ones. After taking part in a charity event, we won nothing less than a week on the villa near La Garde-Freinet, a small village in Provence. Of course, we took advantage of this offer immediately.
In all modesty, this week was truly unforgettable – valuable experience, lots of new positive impressions, and, naturally, many reasons for teambuilding. Once again it became clear that well-coordinated teamwork provides not only productive work, but also perfect holidays: even though there were minor troubles, unavoidable during every trip, we started to consider them to be just comical adventures.
As usual, we had little time, but managed to do some research of Cote d’Azur: besides key points – such as Nice, Cannes, and Saint-Tropez – we appreciated small mountain towns, fabulous sceneries, and beaches with silver sand (still, we haven’t swum in the sea, as it was still cold for swimming)… However, we had no chance to see famous lavender fields: it was an off-season. Nevertheless, the entire trip was accompanied by beautiful blossoming poppies.
And, by the way, even on holidays, drinking morning coffee with a fresh croissant, it was hard to avoid at least short check of working e-mails. This was probably a reflex. Or just a crush in one’s work.
And how were your May holidays?
